This message is serving as the Public Notification of the upcoming Colonial Heights School Board Meetings including the public hearing on the Superintendent's 2025-2026 budget proposal and the public hearing for Input on the Qualifications for the School Board's Search for a New Superintendent is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25, 2025. The meetings will be held at the Colonial Heights Technical Building, 3451 Conduit Road, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.

Please note that the Budget Work Session is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM and the Closed meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm in the Technical Center Conference Room with the Regular Meeting scheduled for 6:30 pm in the Audio Visual Room.

Due to incoming winter weather, Colonial Heights Public Schools will be closed for all staff and students tomorrow, February 19th, 2025.
The Colonial Heights School Board announced today that it will begin the process of hiring a new superintendent by seeking public input on qualifications.
The school board has created a survey related to superintendent criteria, which is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ColonialHeights25 and on the home page of the division web site. Hard copies of the survey will also soon be available at the School Board Administration offices, at each of the schools, Colonial Heights Public Library, and Colonial Heights City Hall Welcome Center.
In addition to the survey, the board will hold a public hearing at the regularly scheduled monthly school board meeting on February 25, 2025 at 6:30pm at the CHHS Tech Center (3451 Conduit Road).
