We recently celebrated the growth and contributions of our English language learning students and their families at our annual ESL Night. Students tasted cultural dishes like baleadas from Honduras and empanadas de pollo from Dominican Republic, played learning games to build English and content skills, located their birthplaces on a map with a photo, and more! This night couldn't have been possible without our many CHPS staff members who planned and hosted the event and numerous community partners who contributed items and services. Thank you to Anthem, United Healthcare, Tussing PTO, The Heights Baptist Church, and Waleska Co. for donating items and raffle prizes. Thank you to The Heights Baptist Church Spanish Ministry for being present at the event for translation services.
