CHPS Gifted Advisory Committee Meeting
Families of elementary and middle school CREATE students are invited to join us for the upcoming CHPS Gifted Advisory Committee Meeting!
📍 Where: Colonial Heights Middle School
📅 When: Wednesday, October 22, from 6:00–7:00 p.m.
This is a great opportunity for families to connect, learn more about our CREATE program, and celebrate student work. Attendees will:
- Receive an overview of services offered through CREATE
- View student-created products
- Meet the CHMS CREATE teacher
If you have any questions, please reach out to Dr. Joe Douglas at joe_douglas@colonialhts.net
We look forward to seeing our CREATE families there!

Elementary students (and youth “Heights” football players in jerseys) get free admission with a paying adult. At halftime, our Tussing Tigers, North Stars, and Lakeview Owls will take a proud lap around the track — a favorite Colonial Heights tradition!
As a reminder, you can celebrate your elementary alma mater by dressing in school colors, mascot gear, or through purchasing an Elementary Alumni T-shirt, available for $20 to support each school’s PTO (if interested in an Alumni T-shirt, please reach out to the elementary school).
We can’t wait to see our whole community come together under the Friday night lights, see you tomorrow! 🌟
#gocolonials❤️💙
