No need to start shopping just yet 😉, but now is a great time to save your child's list and have it handy when you're ready.

Beginning June 11, the CHPS Track will be closed to the public until further notice as part of a track resurfacing project.
We appreciate the community's patience and understanding as these improvements are completed. Updates will be shared as they become available.

Colonial Heights Public Schools will be offering a summer program for rising Kindergarten students at each of our three elementary schools!
This program is designed for students who were not enrolled in CHPS PreK this year but will be starting Kindergarten in August 2026.
📅 June 15 – July 16 (Monday–Thursday)
⏰ 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
❗ No school on June 18 and July 2
✨ Breakfast and lunch provided daily
🚌 Bus transportation available upon request
Students must be fully registered with CHPS to participate.

As our seniors enjoy some of their final traditions and celebrations around CHPS, we loved seeing them return to our elementary schools for the Colonial Pride Tour—encouraging younger students and reflecting on just how far they’ve come.
We are so proud of the Class of 2026 and can’t wait to watch them walk across the stage Thursday night! 👏✨

Last night’s School Board meeting was another evening filled with celebration as we recognized outstanding CHPS students and community members for their achievements and contributions.
