🔔📅 Reminder 📅🔔
CHPS will be closed for students and staff tomorrow, Tuesday, April 21, due to the Special Election. We look forward to seeing students back in our buildings on Wednesday, April 22!

CHPS was excited to welcome Girl Scout Troop 796 to our High Tunnel at the Technical Center! As part of their gardening badge, the troop joined CHHS biology teacher Mr. Boyd for a hands-on tour and lesson.
Students explored a variety of herbs, vegetables, and plants—and even had the chance to sample fresh basil, lettuce, blackberries, and carrots straight from the garden!
Our High Tunnel, part of the Colonial Heights Agri Project, provides unique, hands-on learning opportunities for students across the division. From science exploration to supporting our culinary program with fresh ingredients, this space continues to grow learning in meaningful ways.

This month, we celebrate National Occupational Therapy Month and the incredible impact occupational therapy has on helping individuals participate in the everyday activities that bring meaning, purpose, and independence to their lives.
In CHPS, we are grateful for our outstanding occupational therapists, Jenna Hall and Lauren Jenkins, whose knowledge, dedication, and care support our students, staff, and families every day.
Please join us in thanking them for the important role they play in helping our students succeed! 💙👏
