Public Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Colonial Heights School Board will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, beginning at6 4:00 PM in the Colonial Heights High School Media Center, 3600 Conduit Road, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
After careful consideration and much deliberation, the Colonial Heights School Board is excited to announce the new CHPS Superintendent on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
Interested community members are invited to attend a special board meeting at 4:00 p.m. in the Colonial Heights High School Media Center to hear this exciting news. A meet and greet reception will follow the meeting.
This special meeting will also be recorded for those that are not able to attend.

The Colonial Heights School Board announced today that it will begin the process of hiring a new superintendent by seeking public input on qualifications.
The school board has created a survey related to superintendent criteria, which is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ColonialHeights25 and on the home page of the division web site. Hard copies of the survey will also soon be available at the School Board Administration offices, at each of the schools, Colonial Heights Public Library, and Colonial Heights City Hall Welcome Center.
In addition to the survey, the board will hold a public hearing at the regularly scheduled monthly school board meeting on February 25, 2025 at 6:30pm at the CHHS Tech Center (3451 Conduit Road).

Thursday, February 13th is Interim Day at CHHS. This marks the halfway point of the 3rd 9 weeks. Parents and students can check PowerSchool Parent Portal for up-to-date grades. Parents, please email your child’s teachers with questions in regards to grades and/or makeup work.
