Thursday, February 12th is Interim Day at CHHS. This marks the halfway point of the 3rd 9 weeks. Parents/Guardians are reminded to check PowerSchool Parent Portal for up-to-date grades.

Congratulations to our Scholastic Bowl team for winning the 3A Region Scholastic Bowl Competition! The team will be moving on to the 3A state competition.

Congratulations to Landon Eley (class of 2028) and Emily Whirley (class of 2029).
Landon was 1st place in the 200 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke at the 3A Region Meet.
Emily was 1st place in the 100 Freestyle at the 3A Region Meet.

We wish our amazing CHHS School Counseling team a Happy National School Counseling Week! We are so thankful for the constant love, compassion, and energy shown to our students, parents, staff members, and CH community members each day.


CHHS and all CHPS schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, February 4th. Breakfast and lunch will be served at all schools. All CHHS students and parents/guardians (with an active email address in PowerSchool) have been emailed more information and a CHHS 2-hour delay schedule.
Road and weather conditions will be re-evaluated Wednesday morning to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

Due to impending winter weather this weekend, our 2026 CHHS Hall of Fame Banquet has been postponed and rescheduled for Friday, 6 p.m. at Keystone Tractor Museum.

Champions!!!...Congratulations to our wrestling team for winning the Franklin Dual Tournament. The team went 6-0 on the day to take home the championship!

Members of the English National Honor Society visited the Poe Museum in Richmond this week. Students were able to explore the life and legacy of one of Richmond's most famous literary figures.

Congratulations to our wrestling team for their 2nd place (out of 16 teams) finish at the Matthews High School Invitational. 9 of our wrestlers placed in the top 4 of their weight class. Congratulations to Garrett Carr, Kymani Gilliam, Tanner Lindsey for winning their weight classes.
