Teachers

Colonial Heights Public Schools is proud to announce the selection of 10 exceptional individuals as the 2025-2026 Teachers and Support Staff Members of the Year from our five division schools. These dedicated professionals represent the pinnacle of commitment and service, and their contributions are foundational to the success of every student in our community.

The selection of these honorees reflects the deep pride and gratitude the entire division feels for the daily difference they make, both in the classroom and in their respective support roles.

The Heart of Education: The Difference Makers

The role of a Teacher of the Year is far greater than simply delivering a curriculum. These educators are innovators, mentors, and sources of unwavering inspiration. They are the artists who craft engaging lessons, the dedicated coaches who guide students through challenges, and the compassionate allies who build confidence and foster a lifelong love of learning. Their work shapes not just a student's academic path but their character and future potential.

Equally vital are our Support Staff Members of the Year. These individuals are the essential pillars upon which the entire school environment rests. Whether they are ensuring a safe environment, facilitating technology, managing essential records, providing nutritious meals, or offering specialized one-on-one student assistance, their commitment guarantees that instruction can happen without interruption. They create the stable, nurturing, and well-organized foundation that allows students and teachers to thrive every day.
