The Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) advises the school board on how to better serve children with disabilities in our schools. The committee includes parents of students with disabilities, adults with disabilities, local school personnel and community representatives.
We meet four times a year to discuss unmet needs in special education. We also offer workshops and guest speakers on matters of interest to the families we serve: behavior issues, friendship-building strategies, communicating with school staff, transition planning, and more.
If you are interested in joining the committee, or would just like to know when our meetings and workshops are happening, please feel free to contact us using the information below.
