Welcome Mr. LeReche!

Mr.  Nick LeReche was named the Colonial Heights Middle School Principal at the May 25, 2021 School Board meeting. 

Mr. Nick LeReche grew up in Northern Virginia and attended Virginia Commonwealth University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism in the spring of 2001.  He began working as an instructional assistant and then a special education teacher in Henrico County Public Schools.   He completed his Master’s of Education at VCU in the spring of 2005.  For 8 years, he worked with the Virginia Department of Correctional Education as a special education teacher in one of Virginia’s juvenile correctional facilities.  During this time, he completed his Post Master’s Certificate in Educational Leadership at VCU in 2010.  In 2011, he began his administrative career in Louisa County as an assistant principal at Louisa County Middle School.  In 2015, he began working for Richmond City Public Schools serving as assistant principal at Martin Luther King Jr Middle School and at Albert H Hill Middle School.  

For the past two years he has served as assistant principal at Thomas Jefferson High School.  Nick has two children, Susanna and Jackson, and is married to Corinne LeReche who works as the school counselor at Lakeview Elementary School.
