The School Board recognized award winning student artists from Colonial Heights at the May School Board meeting. Tiffany Kong from Colonial Heights Middle School was the First Place Southside Middle School Winner in the 2012 VSBA (Virginia School Boards Association) Spring Art Contest. The School Board also recognized other student artists who were ribbon winners in the VSBA Spring Art Contest. Senior Petja Doukova from Colonial Heights High School is the 2012 Congressional Arts Competition Winner for Virginia's Fourth Congressional District.
