At the School Board meeting on October 25, 2011 the School Board honored the Teachers of the Year for the 2011-2012 school year. Mrs. Robin Pritchard, kindergarten teacher from Tussing Elementary School, was recognized as the 2011-2012 Colonial Heights Division Teacher of the Year.
Colonial Heights High School: Mrs. Gwen Moseley, Director of Guidance, was recognized as the Colonial Heights High School Teacher of the Year for 2011-2012.
Colonial Heights Middle School: Mrs. Allison Whitley, who teaches seventh grade math, was recognized as the Colonial Heights Middle School Teacher of the Year for 2011-2012.
Lakeview Elementary School: Mrs. Lori Callis, fifth grade teacher, was recognized as the Lakeview Elementary School Teacher of the Year for 2011-2012.
North Elementary School: Ms. MacKenzie Hargrave, fourth grade teacher, was recognized as the North Elementary School Teacher of the Year for 2011-2012.
Tussing Elementary School: Mrs. Robin Pritchard, kindergarten teacher, was recognized as the Tussing Elementary School Teacher of the Year for 2011-2012, and also the 2011-2012 Colonial Heights Division
Teacher of the Year.
Colonial Heights High School student Tracy Akers was recognized as the October Senior of the Month at the October 2011 School Board meeting.
