At an Arbor Day celebration at Lakeview Park, a Willow Tree was planted in honor of Kassidy Renee Hahn. Family of Kassidy, community members, representatives from Colonial Heights City Schools, the city government, and Chamber of Commerce, gathered together to ceremonially plant the Corkscrew Willow Tree, a tree that blooms in the spring, and grows up to 30 feet tall. Children from North Elementary School performed songs for the event.
