Office of Support Services
Welcome to the Office of Support Services Website.
Colonial Heights Public School’s Support Services Department includes Special Education, Section 504, Homebound, Homeless Education and School Health Resources.
Colonial Heights offers a wide array of programs to meet the needs of students with disabilities. Programs and related services are provided for children ages 2-21 inclusive identified for special education services through an eligibility process.
All parents of school-aged children and youth who receive special education services in Virginia schools are encouraged to complete the Virginia Department of Education’s (VDOE) annual Parent Involvement Survey. The VDOE will use the results of this survey to improve parental involvement in the special education process and improve outcomes for all students within the Commonwealth. It is important to note that your responses are recorded anonymously and cannot be personally linked to your child.
The Colonial Heights Public Schools Family Resource Center provides assistance to parents who have children in Colonial Heights schools. The center provides a place for parents to call or visit with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
